This course is designed to familiarize students with the many Non-Lethal tool options for self defense outside of carrying a firearm. Not everyone wants to carry a firearm, or there may be instances where firearms are not an option. In this three hour class we will explore many options, show you how they work, and give each student the opportunity to be hands-on with all of the tools demonstrated in class.
Tools covered
-Byrna pepper ball launcher (kinetic rounds)
-Sabre pepper ball launcher (kinetic rounds)
-Sabre pepper spray (water filled trainer-take home)
-ASP Defender Metro pepper spray device (inert/water based insert)
-Taser Pulse 2 energy weapon (demonstration with conductive target)
(students will have the opportunity to fire a Taser Pulse 2 into the conductive target at an additional charge of $25 each to cover the cost of the cartridge insert)
-Taser Strikelight 2 stun gun/flashlight combo
Required equipment
safety glasses (you may bring your own, or it will be provided)
